Social Events are a great
way for members to get to know one another in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Events are planned monthly
for members, spouses and/or friends. Past activities have included wine tastings, progressive dinners,
and holiday parties, to name a few.
Girls’ Night Out provides a
monthly opportunity to leave the men at home while enjoying movies, cooking classes, spa treatments and other fun events.
Guys’ Night Out provides an opportunity for male
bonding over cards, golf outings, beer tastings, skiing and other events.
Book
Club gets together monthly to participate in literary discussions. Book selections range from
best-selling fiction to biographies.
Playgroups for our little newcomers
meet twice a month, usually at a member’s home or in a local park, to provide parents and their kids with lots of new
friends.
Bunco is a social game played in
multiples of 4. Open to players of all levels including novices, it is a fun and easy game to play, not
to mention a great way to meet new people.
Helping Hands is a network of services available to Newcomers in the event of
an emergency or stressful family situation. Our team of volunteers provides meals to our members’
families.

We are actively involved in ongoing philanthropic activities,
such as charity golf tournaments and collections for shelters in our community. Being an active
member of Newcomers can be very enjoyable and rewarding. If you are interested in working on a committee,
